Ludhiana: PRTC bus hit Scorpio car, drivers lock horns

Ludhiana: A PRTC bus hit a new Scorpio in Ludhiana. After the incident, a heated argument broke out between the bus driver and the car owner. Later, the angry bus driver stopped the bus in the middle of the road and blamed the car passengers for the mishap.

On the other hand, the car owner blamed the PRTC bus driver and asked him to compensate for the loss but the bus driver insisted it was not his fault due to which the incident happened.

The rest of the PRTC buses coming from behind also supported their partner and stopped the buses on the road. After which the atmosphere became tense. The fleet of buses on the road resulted into a traffic jam in which people were stuck for hours.

Meanwhile, the atmosphere became very tense and people stuck in the traffic had to face difficulties. Seeing the matter escalating, the police reached the spot. The police calmed down both parties.

Narrating the ordeal Scorpio owner Simran Singh said that he was going towards Gaushala Road on Tibba Road in his new Scorpio car. As soon as he reached Tajpur Chowk, a PRTC bus hit him hard from behind. Simran Singh said that he had given the correct indicator to turn the car, but the bus driver rammed her car at high speed. After the collision, the car suffered a lot of damage. Instead of giving compensation, they are accusing him and threatening him that he is a government employee of a government bus.

Police assured both parties that action will be taken after checking the CCTV footages.
