In a major crackdown on the narco-hawala nexus, Ferozepur police busted a drug smuggling module. The information about the action of the Ferozepur police has been shared by Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav through a post on X.

The police said that by busting drug smuggling module, police arrested three accused and recovered a total of 12.07 Kg heroin. Along with heroin, police also recovered Rs 25.12 lakh drug and hawala money.
Ferozepur Police have launched an investigation, and an FIR has been registered under the NDPS Act. The FIR has been lodged at PS Ghall Khurd. Further investigation is underway to trace forward and backward linkages.
