Chandigarh: Large-scale transfers have been done by the Punjab government recently. The government has transferred 33 officers/employees of the prison department and posted them from one place to another.
Manjit Singh Sidhu has been posted in Central Jail Bathinda, Varun Sharma has been posted Central Jail Patiala, Rajiv Arora has been given charge of AIG. Jail Punjab, Iqbal Singh Dhaliwal has been posted in Central Jail Faridkot, Hemant Sharma as Deputy Superintendent in Central Jail Amritsar, Lalit Kohli in District Jail Rupnagar, Navinder Singh in Jail Sangrur and Rahul Raja in Gurdaspur Jail.
