In a major development for the city’s real estate sector, Malhotra Realty Private Ltd (MRPL) has announced the pre-launch of two landmark projects—The Wilton and M Square. The grand unveiling took place in the presence of Meenu Malhotra, Founder and Chairman of Malhotra Group PLC (UK), who shared his vision behind these ambitious ventures.
The Wilton, set to rise on Hambran Road, promises to be a one-stop destination for luxury living and retail. The project spread over 12 acres will feature 550 premium residences, a five-star Hotel — Courtyard by Marriott, and high-end retail spaces, offering a blend of elegance and convenience.
Adding to the city’s commercial landscape, M Square is being developed over 50000 + sq feet on Gaushala Road in the heart of the old city. The state-of-the-art facility spans multiple floors with retail shops, a designated food court, OTT Cinema, a Kid’s play zone and a secured underground parking space. This shopping destination aims to provide an elevated retail experience for discerning shoppers and business owners alike.
Speaking at the pre-launch ceremony, Meenu Malhotra reflected on his deep-rooted connection with Ludhiana. “I was born and brought up in this city. My family has lived here for around 120 years. I grew up in the Chaura Bazar area and studied at Sacred Heart Convent and Arya College before moving to the UK in 1979. Despite residing and working abroad, I have always maintained strong ties with my homeland,” he shared.
Malhotra emphasized that his projects are not merely business ventures but a tribute to Ludhiana’s legacy. “I wanted to give my city the best. These elite projects are not just about profits or real estate development but about bringing good fortune to my hometown. With specially conceptualized designs, I aim to take Ludhiana’s glory to new heights,” he expressed.
In addition to The Wilton and M Square, Malhotra Realty is also set to launch another high-profile project—The Imperial Golf Estate—at Mullanpur in 2026. This upcoming venture is expected to further redefine luxury living in the region.
While addressing the gathering, Malhotra thanked Zafar Chaudhary, Chief Executive Officer, Habitat Architects for meticulously designing the idea conceptualized by MRPL.
Malhotra also thanked Juhi Roy, Senior Director, Hotel Development –South Asia, Marriott International for showing trust in him.
