Mann Govt’s Boost to Education sector: Free residential coaching for competitive exams; 750 students enrolled in Ludhiana

Chandigarh: After a rigorous election campaign, Mann government has returned to action mode. The new decision will be a boost to the education sector in Punjab. As per information, Punjab’s Mann government is going to start Free Residential coaching for students aspiring to prepare for competitive exams like JEE/NEET and CLAT.

In early stage, this coaching will start on 6 June at the Residential School for Meritorious Students in Ludhiana. Total of 750 children from 23 districts of Punjab are participating in this new initiative of residential coaching.  

Out of a total of 750 students, 350 students will prepare for JEE, 250 students for NEET and 150 students will prepare for professional exams like CLAT. The residential coaching will be given to students free of cost by Punjab Government.

Teachers from big institutes like Physicswala, Avanti and DIAS Academy will give free coaching to the children of government schools. The step can be termed as a big step taken in the direction of giving wings to the dreams of poor children. The benefit of coaching will be received by the poor and backward children of Punjab.

Through this residential coaching, children of government schools are being prepared for the top colleges of the country during summer vacations. Along with passing the exam, the priority of this residential coaching is to focus on confidence building. A lot of emphasis will also be given on preparing the children of government schools psychologically for these professional exams.
