In Ludhiana, a married man had physical relations with a 20-year-old girl for about 1 year. He lured her into marriage and even made a video of her. He kept raping her by threatening to make the video viral. After the complaint, the Sadar police station has registered a case against the accused.
Came to Ludhiana to work in 2023
Giving information to the police, the victim said that she had come to Ludhiana to work in 2023. During this time, she got acquainted with the accused Sejdatt Goswami. The accused lured her into marriage and took her to a hotel at the bus stand on 1 March 2024. The accused had physical relations with her there.
According to the victim, she later came to know that the accused Goswami is married. After which she stopped talking to the accused. On 7 February 2025, she went to Panchkula with her sister. The accused Goswami is now calling her continuously and threatening to make her obscene video viral. In this case, Sadar police station has registered a case against the accused under sections 351(2), 69 BNS.
