Massive fire broke out in the hosiery factory of Ludhiana’s old market

Ludhiana : There was an atmosphere of panic in the old market of Ludhiana when a sudden fire broke out in a hosiery factory last night. From the preliminary investigation, the case seems to be a short circuit. At present, the fire brigade team reached the spot and started to control the situation.

According to the information received from the sources, a fire broke out at a hosiery factory in Saidan Chowk of Purana Bazar late last night. Due to the narrowness of the streets, there was an atmosphere of tension among the residents and other factory owners.

After information received, the fire brigade teams reached the spot and started dousing the fire. Due to the narrowness of the road, the fire brigade vehicles faced great difficulty in reaching the accident site.

After three hours of hard work, six vehicles of the fire brigade brought the fire under complete control. In view of safety, electricity supply was stopped in the area.

From there, in this case, the residents of the area say that the administration has installed water pumps to extinguish the fire at many places in the area, but none of the pumps worked on the spot.

According to the residents of the area, the pumps were not in working condition. The brigade team reached on time and brought the fire under control, especially if the fire had spread, it could have been a major disaster as the hosiery and other factories are connected to each other in a narrow area and the area is densely populated.
