Chandigarh: The Punjab government is organizing the third parent-teacher meeting in government schools across the state on 22 October 2024. Giving information about this, School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains said that in this program running from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm, teachers, students, their parents, school management committees and other eminent personalities will discuss to improve the arrangements of school education.
Harjot Singh Bains said that in this meeting, teachers and parents will share feedback about the progress of the children so that it can be understood what the child does in school and what are his activities after school.
He informed that the results of the examinations held in September will also be shared with the parents in this meeting.
Mega PTM is being organized on 22 October 2024 in 20,000 government primary and upper primary schools of Punjab, in which more than 20 lakh parents will participate.
The Education Minister also informed that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann will also attend this Mega PTM in some government school of the state. He said that the Punjab Government has taken several steps to improve the government schools in the state, which include facilities like campus managers, security guards, classrooms, labs, grounds, transport services, School of Eminence, and uniforms of students.
