Union Minister of State for Railways Bittu visit to Sangrur

Sangrur: Minister of State for Railways Ravneet Singh Bittu visited Sangrur Railway Station today on Sunday. On this occasion, he inspected the renovation of the station and other development works going on under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. All the officers, including DRM Mandeep Singh Bhatia of Ambala Railway Division, were present with him.

This was his first visit after becoming a minister. He told the officials that the projects should be completed on time. Development works worth Rs 23.77 crore are going on at Sangrur railway station under the Amrit Bharat Station Development Scheme. These include renovation of station building, development of station circulating area, construction of green belt in circulating area, construction of new car and scooter/motorcycle parking, and many other works.

Construction of a new footbridge is also going on under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. It is likely to be completed by August 31, 2024. Apart from this, the construction of a new 12-meter-wide foot-over bridge at Sangrur station is also going on under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.

During the visit of the Minister of State for Railways, the Punjab BJP also appeared united. Many BJP leaders, including Arvind Khanna, were present on this occasion. Bittu took detailed information about the entire project. Earlier, he said that better facilities will be provided to the people by the railways. People will not have to face any kind of problem.
