Ludhiana: Aam Aadmi Party MLA Gurpreet Singh Bassi Gogi died on January 11 in Ludhiana, Punjab. According to the family, Gogi was cleaning the pistol when suddenly a shot was fired. He was also taken to DMC Hospital in an injured state, but by then he had died.
Today is his last prayer and Sahaj Paath Bhog at Gurdwara Shri Guru Singh Sabha Model Town Extension. All the MLAs of Aam Aadmi Party and state president Aman Arora were present in the Bhog. Along with this, leaders of other political parties including the opposition also paid tribute to Gogi.
Many leader and relatives came up for condolences. Many leader from different parties attended his cremation ceremony on 11 january 2025.
