Mohali: A horrific incident from Mohali has come to light in which an unknown assailant attacked a girl with a sharp weapon. The CCTV footage of the incident is getting viral in which an assailant can be seen attacking the girl. The incident occurred near Gurudwara Phase 5 of Mohali.
After she was attacked people from the nearby rushed her to the Civil Hospital Mohali where she was declared dead.
The deceased has been identified as Baljinder Kaur (31). She had been working in the call centre of a private bank for the last 9 years.
According to police sources, the matter is related to a love affair. However, the family members say that they do not know anything about this. They have never come across such a thing before.
DSP Mohit Agarwal said that the accused youth has been arrested. The family’s statements are being recorded. The reason behind the attack is not yet known. The police is interrogating the youth trying to find out the reason of merciless attack on the woman.
