Punjab: SAD formed 23 member based new core committee

Chandigarh: A new core committee has been formed by Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD). A total of 23 members have been included in the committee. While there will be four special invitees. The decision in this regard has been taken by party chief Sukhbir Singh Badal in the party’s working committee.

Names from SGPC chief Harjinder Singh Dhami to Paramjit Singh Sarna have been included in the committee. Apart from this, many leaders have been included. Senior Akali Dal leader Dr Daljit Singh Cheema has given information about this by posting it on his social media account.

Earlier, the core committee was dissolved after the dispute in the party. Many names, including Prof. Prem Singh Chandumajra, were included in that committee.

The name of SGPC chief Harjinder Singh Dhami is in first place in the core committee formed by SAD. After this, Balwinder Singh Bhundar, Naresh Gujral, Gulzar Singh Ranike, Mahesh Inder Singh Grewal, Dr Daljit Singh Cheema,

Janmeja Singh Sekhon, Anil Joshi, Sharanjit Singh Dhillon, Bikram Singh Majithia, Hira Singh Gabadia, Parmarjit Singh Sarna, and Manjit Singh GK Iqbal Singh Jhundha, Prof. Virsa Singh Valtoha, Gurbachan Singh Babehali, Dr Sukhwinder Sukhi, Lakhbir Singh Lodhinangal, NK Sharma, Mantar Singh Brar, Harmeet Singh Sandhu, Sohan Singh Thandal, and Baldev Singh Khaira are the names included.

The invited members have been made by SAD. The party leader in the parliament will be given a place in them. Apart from this, the head of the Youth Akali Dal, the leader of the Women Akali Dal, and the head of the legal wing of the Shiromani Akali Dal have been made special members.

SAD suddenly dissolved the core committee 12 days ago. A one-line post has been put up on the social media account of Akali Dal in this regard. After that, Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Singh Badal appeared before Sri Akal Takht Sahib. After this, seven leaders who rebelled in the party were expelled from the party.
