Chandigarh: The Punjab State Women’s Commission has taken notice of the wrong remarks made by Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Harjinder Singh Dhami about Bibi Jagir Kaur and thus a show cause notice is being issued to him by Chairperson Raj Lali Gill. The Women’s Commission said that this is a serious matter and insulting women will not be tolerated anywhere.
It is worth noting that on the other hand, Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami has apologized to Bibi Jagir Kaur and the entire female caste. Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami also apologized by giving a written letter to the Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and also released a video in this regard. Harjinder Singh Dhami said that I have spoken abusive words unknowingly.
He said that sometimes a person gets angry and speaks abusive words. He said that he apologized to the entire female caste and the former president of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Bibi Jagir Kaur. He said that he had also come to Sri Akal Takht Sahib with a written apology.
He said that he will fulfill whatever orders Singh Sahib will give to him. It is noteworthy that in an interview, Advocate Dhami had spoken some abusive words for Bibi Jagir Kaur and the female caste, after which he was being criticized.
