Patiala: In Patiala, 10 year old girl Maanvi who died after eating cake on her own birthday, a new twist has come in this matter. The report of the cake sent by the police to the lab has come.
Shockingly the cake which turns out to be deadly for Maanvi, Now as per the report, no poisonous substance has been found in it. This claim was made by the SHO of Grain Market, Patiala. He said that the though viscera report is yet to come.
At the same time, on the basis of this report, bakery owner Gurpreet Singh has got bail from Punjab and Haryana High Court after two months. On this, the family said that they will fight battle for justice. Father of the girl has said that he lost his daughter and now he is not going back now.
Two samples taken by the health department had failed
Earlier, the Health Department had collected cake samples from the cake-making bakery. Of the four samples taken during this period, two had failed, while two were found to be correct. Investigation revealed that a kind of sweetener was used in excess quantity in the cakes.
