Plantation drive in Mansa, target to plant 10 lakh saplings

In order to make the environment clean and green in Punjab, a target of planting 10 lakh saplings has been set in Mansa district and today around 3 lakh saplings will be planted which was initiated by Mansa MLA Vijay Singla and Deputy Commissioner Paramveer Singh. Plantation has started in 12 acres of panchayat land of Mansa Khurd village of Mansa.

To make the environment greener in Punjab, a plantation drive has been launched today by Deputy Commissioner Paramveer Singh and MLA Vijay Singla at Mansa Khurd. MLA Vijay Singla said that today there is a great need to clean the environment and make Punjab green.

The Punjab government has also started a large-scale campaign to plant trees in Punjab. They said that if our environment is clean, then only we can stay healthy, so today every person needs to plant more plants.

Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Paramveer Singh said that the target is to plant 10 lakh saplings in Mansa district and today about 2.5 to 3 lakh saplings will be planted. Heritage plants and flowers and fruit trees will be planted and there will also be a bird sanctuary. With such plantation drives, the aim is to increase the forest cover of the state.

In the same way, trees are being planted in 100 acres of village Jharianwali.
