Platforms of Chandigarh Railway Station to remain close for 7 days, Read to know more

Chandigarh: As part of the reconstruction work of Chandigarh Railway Station, platforms number 1 and 2 will be closed from 14 to 20 December. During this time, the work of laying the gutter and overbridge connecting Chandigarh to Panchkula will be completed. This information was given by DRM Mandeep Singh Bhatia of Ambala division.

Railway officials informed that work will be done for the overbridge on platforms number 3 and 4 from 21 to 24 December. For this, temporary stops have been made at Ghaggar and Mohali railway stations, so that passengers do not face inconvenience.

Due to the work of platforms number 1 and 2, wheeler parking will be shifted in front of the parcel office. DRM Mandeep Singh Bhatia visited Chandigarh Railway Station took stock of the reconstruction work and gave instructions to ensure the facilities of the passengers.

Meanwhile, the Ambala division has changed the platform of 56 trains. During the work on platforms number 1 and 2, trains will be run from platform number 3, 4, 5, and 6. From 21 to 24 December, during the work on platforms number 3 and 4, these trains will depart from platforms number 5 and 6.
