PM Modi’s rally in Gurdaspur

On the Second day of campaigning in Punjab, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Gurdaspur. PM will campaign and seek votes for BJP Candidate Dinesh Babbu. After addressing rally in Gurdaspur, PM Modi will address another rally in Jalandhar. In Jalandhar PM will seek vote for BJP candidate Sushil Kumar Rinku.

Ahead of PM Modi visit to Gurdaspur, Farmers started reaching the venue. Though farmers were stopped by the police deployed, farmers leaders are also under house arrest in view of PM’s visit.

PM Modi in his address in Gurdaspur targeted both Congress and Aam Aadmi Party. terming the 2024 Lok sabha election as an election which will provide direction to the country, the PM appealed to people ‘not to waste’ their vote on Congress and AAP.

Talking about the development of Gurdaspur, PM Modi said, “I have come to seek your blessings to make sure that I live up to your expectations in my third term and ensure the development of Gurdaspur, Punjab and the country”.

INDI alliance is Communal, Casteist, familyist

While launching an attack on Congress and AAP, PM Modi accused the opposition of being casteist and drenched in corruption. He said, “On one side, there is BJP and NDA with a clear vision for Viksit Bharat, resolve for Nation First, track record of 10 years, strict action on corruption. On the other side in INDI alliance, which is staunchly communal, casteist, and familyist.”

Opposition befooling people

“The people of Congress and Jhadu (referring to AAP), these people of INDI alliance, I don’t know what they think about the people of this country. Every now and then, they are playing games to befool the people. In Delhi, they are pretending to be friends, shielding the corrupts and in Punjab, they are abusing each other”, added Modi while addressing in Gurdaspur.

Congress removed Captain Amarinder Singh

The PM said “when it comes to the interest of the country, people will find Congress standing at the back. When Congress was in power in Punjab, where did the orders come from? Who had the remote control, but Captain Amarinder Singh refused to give orders. Being a soldier, he decided to act in the national interest. What was the result, he was removed from the post of Chief Minister. No one can forget this insult to Punjab. Unfortunately, even today efforts are being made to run Punjab remotely.”
