Hoshiarpur: On the last day of election campaigning for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Hoshiarpur. He addressed a ‘Fateh Rally’ and campaigned for BJP candidate Anita Somprakash. Anita Somprakash is wife of incumbent MP Union Minister Somprakash. Earlier, Modi has held rallies in Patiala, Jalandhar, and Gurdaspur in Punjab.
Talking about the last day of election campaign, PM Modi said that this is his last meeting of the 2024 election campaign. PM Modi said, “I bow my head in respect to Maa Chintapurni, Maa Naina Devi and Guru Gobind Singh Ji.”

Hoshiarpur is Chhoti Kashi
Terming Hoshiarpur as Chhoti Kashi, he said Hoshiarpur is the Tapabhoomi of Ravidas Ji. “Kashi from where I am an MP is the place where Ravidas was born. It is no less than a good fortune for me that the election campaign has been completed in Hoshiarpur”, Modi added.
Talking about the schemes of central govt, PM said that the benefits of Modi government’s schemes are being received without any discrimination. He said that everyone has got a concrete house, gas connection, electricity connection.
“Such schemes have given the poor people the right to live with self-respect. Guru Ravidas ji has also said that even if we have to live for 100 years, we should work all our life”, he added.
INDI Alliance done damage to country
Targeting Congress and alliance partners of INDIA bloc, PM Modi said, “the Indi alliance has done a lot of damage to the country. At the time of partition, the Congress people could not claim their rights on Kartarpur Sahib. They kept opposing the Ram temple due to vote bank. Nowadays they talk about protecting the Constitution.”
“These are the people who had damaged the Constitution. Sikhs were murdered in 1984. Modi will not let reservation end. Their intentions regarding reservation are dangerous. They will snatch the reservation of SC, ST and OBC and give it to Muslims”, he added.
