Protest at Shambhu railway station continued for the fourth day, passengers distressed as dozens of trains affected

Rajpura : The protest protest organized by the United Kisan Morcha Non-Political and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha at Shambhu Railway Station for the release of the farmer leaders arrested by the Haryana Police Administration continued for the fourth day today. Apart from the crowd of farmers, a large gathering of women was also seen in this protest.

On this, the leaders Sarwan Singh Pandher, Surjit Singh Phool, Amarjit Singh Mohri, Manjit Singh Ghumana and Balkar Singh Bains said that the governments were under the illusion that the movement might be weak during the wheat harvest season, but half of the country’s population is women power. After taking over the leadership of the Morcha, the Morcha is preparing to touch more heights during this period.

He said that the leaders of the Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee are making a vital contribution to this movement by visiting the entire country including Punjab to mobilize the people. He said that the BJP should understand that people will not turn a blind eye to those who are indifferent to the demands of the farmers. He said that the agitation going on at Shambhu railway station has been given full response by the local people and this agitation will continue until the arrested youth farmer leaders are not released. He said that the next action will also be announced on April 22.
