Protesting farmer dies of cardiac arrest at Border

In a sad news from Shambhu Border, Another farmer has died in the Kisan Morcha. The deceased farmer has been identified as Pargat Singh, who was a resident of village Kakkar, tehsil Lopoke in Amritsar.

Farmer leaders say that Pargat Singh woke up in the morning and went to take a bath when he suddenly collapsed there. Leaders say that the farmer almost died due to a heart attack. However, some clear reasons will be known only after the rest of the medical examination.

Leaders said that the dead body was sent to Civil Hospital Rajpura. It is being told that Pargat Singh had reached the Morcha on behalf of the Kisan-Majdoor Sangharsh Committee at Shambhu Border.

It has also been reported that Pargat Singh’s one son and daughters are still unmarried and he was the owner of only 2 acres of land.

Farmers protest have been going on for over 11 months at the Shambhu Border. Farmers have been protesting at the border for the fulfillment of their demands including legalisation of MSP.
