Chandigarh: Anurag Dalal, an independent candidate for the post of President in PU Student Council Election, has won. He has become the new king of PU. Anurag Dalal was leading from the beginning during the counting of votes. Anurag Dalal has received a total of 3433 votes. His supporters are celebrating in PU. On the other hand, Archit Garg of NSUI has won the Vice President post with 3631 votes.
Vineet Yadav of INSO has received 3298 votes for the post of Secretary. Jaswinder Rana of ABVP has won the Joint Secretary post. He has received 3489 votes. With this, the celebration of the winning candidates has begun in PU. Supporters of the winners are celebrating.
Anurag Dalal, an independent candidate for the post of President in PU, has created a gap of more than 500 votes from his rival Prince Chaudhary of CYSS. Anurag Dalal has received 1523 votes so far. Prince Chaudhary of CYSS is in second place with 947 votes.
ABVP’s female candidate Arpita Malik got 374 votes and Tarun Sidhu of SOI got 337 votes. Karandeep Singh (Sath) is leading with 910 votes for the post of Vice President. Archit Garg of NSUI got 803 and Karanveer Kumar of USO got 597 votes and is in third place.
Jashanpreet Singh (SOPU) got 961 votes, Vineet Yadav (INSO) got 908 votes and Paras Parasar of NSUI got 856 votes for the post of Secretary. Rohit Sharma got 775 votes, Jaswinder Rana of ABVP got 750 votes and Tejaswi of ISO got 472 votes for the post of Joint Secretary.
