Cabinet Minister Dhaliwal reaches Gurdaspur, addresses situation of Indian children stranded in Russia

Gurdaspur: Punjab Cabinet Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal has given a big statement on the issue of bringing back Indian youth trapped in the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. He said that just 2 days ago he had a talk with the Russian government about bringing back the Indian youth.

But the youth trapped there have made a contract with the Russian government before joining the Russian Army. That contract is becoming an obstacle in bringing the youth to India.

Cabinet Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal said that both the Indian and Punjab governments are trying to bring back the children of the country. The children will be brought back to India soon. On this occasion, he held a meeting with the district administration to review the development work going on in district Gurdaspur. He said that the pending work in the district should be completed as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, some MLAs and constituency in-charges complained to the minister that many officers of the district administration do not pick up their phones. On which the minister instructed the district administration officials to respect all the MLAs and constituency in-charges of the party. On the other hand, on the deaths of the village due to lack of fodder in the cowshed of Kalanaur, he said that arrangements for fodder should be made in the cowshed as soon as possible.
