Punjab CM Mann distributes loan waiver certificate to farmers in Amritsar today

Amritsar, June 8: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann reached Amritsar on Sunday. Here he reached to attend a program to be held in the Golden Jubilee Hall of Guru Nanak Dev University. On this occasion, the Chief Minister distributed loan waiver certificates to the beneficiaries of the loan waived by Punjab State Cooperative Agriculture and Rural Development Bank (PSCARD).

While addressing the program, CM Bhagwant Mann once again targeted Sukhbir Badal. The CM said that he treats religion like something he carries in his pocket—removing one Jathedar, appointing another at will, and even granting pardons as he pleases. But today’s youth has understood. If the family asks to vote for someone, then the youth talk about voting as per their wish, which is why the nexus of two parties has broken in the state.

The CM advised Sukhbir Badal that he should now sit at home. People no longer want to get service from him. Sukhbir Badal mentions that former Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal got the work of Punjab done.

But, the CM called his statement false and said that the Akali government neither built any school nor any college. The roads that were built were also given on contract to private companies. His government closed down the toll plazas, which were built during the Akali government.

This program is an important part of the state government’s farmer welfare policy, under which loan waiver has been done to improve the economic condition of the farmers. This initiative has brought relief to thousands of farmer families in the state.

68 crore rupees waived off

CM Bhagwant Mann said that there were many loop holes in the previous governments. By closing them, the Aam Aadmi Party government is collecting money. This is the reason why farmers’ money is being waived off today. Today, Rs 67.84 crore of 4727 families has been waived off and this process will continue in future as well.

Importance of Kisan Kalyan Yojana

This loan waiver scheme is one of the priorities of the Punjab government. This has not only provided financial relief to the farmers but has also boosted their morale. The aim of the government is to strengthen the agriculture sector and improve the economic condition of the farmers.

This program of the Chief Minister will reveal the direction of the agricultural policy in the state and the commitment of the government. This program will give an encouraging message to the farmers and will also clarify the outline of future plans.
