According to the Meteorological Department, apart from Chandigarh, a yellow alert has been issued in Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Hoshiarpur, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ferozepur, Faridkot and Rupnagar of Punjab due to fog. The temperature is being recorded at around 5 degrees in most districts of Punjab.
Talking about Chandigarh, light fog will be seen in the morning. The temperature may be between 6 and 24 degrees. Amritsar in Punjab will see light fog in the morning. The temperature may be between 4 and 20 degrees.
