Patiala: The Punjab government is taking bulldozer action on the lines of the UP government against drug smugglers. In this sequence, now bulldozer action has been taken at the house of a female drug smuggler named Rinki in Patiala. Police teams have reached there with JCB and other machines.

Patiala SSP Nanak Singh himself has reached the spot. He says that the accused woman has been involved in drug trafficking from 2016 to 2023. More than ten drug trafficking cases are registered against her. She has built all this property with the money from drug trafficking.

The woman was given time to present evidence

The police is carrying out this action in Rodi Kut locality of Patiala, which is infamous for drug smuggling. Patiala police had collected all the information before taking action at the house of the woman smuggler. The concerned authority had asked the woman to submit the details of the expenditure incurred on building this building. But the woman smuggler could not give any information to the authority in this regard. After this, the police has taken an order from the court and issued an order to demolish the woman’s house. The police’s attempt behind this is to send a message to the drug smugglers that now they will not be able to escape.

The female drug smuggler was not present at the spot

According to the police, the woman had built a two-storey house. It had all the facilities. The police feared that when action would be taken, the situation could become heated. People of the locality could come in support of the woman. In such a situation, strict security arrangements were made. But when the police took this action, no one reached the spot at that time. The woman herself was also not present at home.

After this, the police used a big machine to first demolish the upper floors, while after that action was taken to demolish the building below. However, the house was painted very well. The police say that this action will continue in the future as well.
