Punjab Government launches action plan against corruption

Chandigarh: After losing Delhi assembly elections, the Punjab government has now come into action. The government has prepared an action plan against corruption. The government has also ordered the DC, SSP, SDM and SHO of the districts to stop corruption in their areas. If they do not succeed in this, action will be taken against them. This thing will be assessed on the basis of feedback from the general public and MLAs.

Questions started being raised on the government itself

The Punjab government has been active against corruption from the very beginning. The government had given indications of this by filing cases against its MLAs.

Apart from this, corruption cases were filed against many former ministers of the Congress government. The government also cashed in on this on a large scale. But these cases are not able to stand in the court.

The corruption cases filed against former ministers Bharat Bhushan Ashu and Sundar Sham Arora have been dismissed by the Punjab and Haryana High Court. In such a situation, questions are being raised on the government as well. The opposition is cornering the government. In this situation, the government is in no mood to give any leniency.

Preparation for the assembly elections to be held in 2027

Congress leaders were called for questioning in various projects, the pace of which had slowed down. In such a situation, this is also a clear indication that the investigation of the projects which were going on earlier will be expedited. Also, in the coming days, many people will be put behind bars. This will directly try to win the hearts of the people.
