Punjab Health Minister Balbir Singh said that this time, dengue cases are going to be reduced by 80%. We are working to achieve this target. In this, students studying medicine i.e. nursing and pharmacy students will play the role of master trainers. While teachers, Anganwadi and Asha workers will be given the responsibility of checking larvae. They will also make people aware. Along with this, they will also identify larvae. Apart from this, there will be arrangements for fogging etc.

Preparations to regulate online pharmacy sales

Now children have become the target of drug smugglers. They are making them addicted to drugs. For this, we will work together with the parents. There, they sell energy drinks and online pharmacies. To crack down on them, he has met Union Minister JP Nadda. Along with this, now they will also be monitored, so that our young generation can be saved. He has also appealed to the parents to avoid bringing energy drinks to the house, because this also causes addiction in the youth.

5000 beds reserved for common people

The Health Minister said that instead of sending the addicts to jail, they will take them to de-addiction centres. In-house centres are being built at the same time. Arrangements will be made there to train them according to the needs of the industry. For this, he will visit the whole of Punjab. Along with this, 5000 beds have been increased in all the hospitals of the state, so that the addicts can get proper treatment.
