BSF recovered two heroine packets of 970gm from Gurdaspur And Amritsar border

Gurdaspur: Border security force during their search operation has recovered two packets of heroine in Gurdaspur and Amritsar border. Acting on the information from BSF intelligence regarding the presence of a suspected packet in the border area of Gurdaspur district, BSF troops promptly launched an extensive search operation. During the search BSF troops successfully recovered 01 packet weighing 470 gms, of heroin.

The narcotics were wrapped with yellow adhesive tape and a nylon hook was found attached to the packet. This recovery occurred in a farming field adjacent to Chakram Sai Village in Gurdaspur District. Through diligent efforts and reliable information, the BSF thwarted yet another attempt by the narco-syndicate to smuggle contraband substances into India from across the border.

During morning hours, based on a specific information of BSF, a joint search operation was conducted by BSF Punjab troops and Amritsar Rural Police in the border area of district Amritsar. troops successfully recovered 01 packet of heroin, with a gross weight of approximately 500 gm.

The narcotics were wrapped with yellow adhesive tape and the recovery took place in a farming field adjacent to Roranwala Khurd village in Amritsar district. A reliable input and a well-coordinated joint operation of BSF and Punjab Police once again brought success in foiling a smuggling attempt of narcotics from across the border.
