Chandigarh: The Punjab and Haryana High Court has provided significant relief to former Congress Minister Sunder Sham Arora by quashing the corruption case filed against him by the Punjab Vigilance Bureau. The case had accused Arora of embezzlement in connection with the allotment of industrial plots. This court decision effectively clears the charges against him, marking a major victory for Arora in his legal battle.

Former Minister Sunder Sham Arora expressed his full faith in the judicial system following the Punjab and Haryana High Court’s decision to quash the corruption case against him. He stated that the judiciary had delivered justice, reinforcing his trust in the legal process. Arora further alleged that the current Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Punjab had been attempting to tarnish his image. Still, he believed that divine protection had shielded him from the false charges.
