Nawanshahr: Punjab Health Minister Dr Balbir Singh visited Nawanshahr Civil Hospital today. On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa, SDM Akshita Gupta, and Civil Surgeon Jaspreet Kaur honoured him by giving him a bouquet.
The health minister, who came to visit the civil hospital, while talking to the people, asked if they were facing any problems. People told the minister that medicines are being given free of charge here. There is no problem of any kind. The minister was also satisfied with this and said that all kinds of machinery are present in the hospital.
At the same time, Minister Dr. Balbir also held a meeting with all the officials and gave instructions regarding dengue. He also asked the officials to pay attention to cleanliness. Apart from this, the shortage of doctors in the hospital will soon be met within two months.
Minister Dr. Balbir Singh, while talking to the media, said that due to the scorching sun and intense heat in Punjab and the diseases like dengue and chikungunya that come with the upcoming monsoon, a meeting will be held with the officials regarding this. In this regard, diseases like dengue and chikungunya that happened last year are being reviewed, and meetings are being held to prevent them. 550 doctors will be recruited soon, and the recruitment of paramedical staff will also be done for 2 months.
