Nawanshahr: As a part of poll campaign, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati is coming to Punjab today. She will address the election rally in favor of the party’s candidate from Sri Anandpur Sahib Lok Sabha constituency and the party’s state president Jasbir Singh Garhi.
Mayawati will reach the election meeting at Mahalaon Ground on Bagga Road, Nawanshahr at 12 noon.

Founder of the party, Late Kashiram was also born in a village in Rupnagar district which comes under this Lok Sabha constituency. Also at the same time, he had won the Lok Sabha elections from this constituency. However, at that time this constituency came under Hoshiarpur Lok Sabha constituency.
