Congress party has decided to field Sher Singh Ghubhaya as candidate from the Firozpur Lok Sabha seat. After the announcement of candidate from the Firozpur seat, Congress party has fielded its candidates on all 13 seats of the state.
Sher Singh Ghubaya is an Indian politician who was a member of the Lok Sabha, elected from Firozpur constituency of Punjab in 2009 and 2014, as a member of Akali Dal. Later after rift with SAD, in 2021 he joined INC and from then he is member of the Indian National Congress.
Aam Aadmi Party has fielded incumbent MLA Jagdeep Singh Kaka Brar from the Firozpur Lok Sabha seat. BJP is yet to announce the name of its candidate from the seat.
SAD has a stronghold in Firozpur as it has secured six straight terms from 1998 to 2019. SAD President Sukhbir Singh Badal is current MP from the seat but this time party has fielded Nardev Singh Bobby Mann from the seat.
