The oath-taking ceremony of Panchs and Sarpanches of Punjab will be held on December 3, a list of which has also been released. There is a district-level function for the newly elected Panches and Sarpanches of Gram Panchayats.
The Sarpanches elected on 15.10.2024 by the Gram Panchayats of Punjab and 19 districts were administered the oath on 08.11.2024. The Panches of these same districts have been administered the oath at the district level on 19.11.2024. The Sarpanches and Panches of the four districts of Punjab where by-elections were held are to be administered the oath on December 3.
