Bathinda, June 13: Punjab Police have arrested two individuals in connection with the murder of Social media influencer Kanchan Kumari, popularly known as Kamal Kaur Bhabi. The accused have been identified as Jaspreet Singh Mehron from Moga and Nimratjit Singh from Tarn Taran.
According to the police sources, the duo confessed during interrogation that Kamal kaur was leading the youth astray with her online content. Despite previous counselling sessions, she allegedly continued her activities, prompting the accused to take action. they lured her to a garage under the pretext of a car breakdown and subsequently strangled her.
The body of Kanchan Kumari was discovered in a parked car near Adesh Medical University in Bathinda on June 12. Authorities have initiated a murder investigation, and forensic teams are examining the scene to gather further evidence. According to sources, the mastermind behind the murder, identified as Amritpal Singh Mehron.
