Chandigarh: In a major breakthrough, SAS Nagar Police has arrested 2 notorious criminals. Both criminals were involved in exchange of fire with CIA team. Both criminals got seriously injured and taken to the nearest hospital. Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav shared this information through a post on X. He also shared that arrested criminals have half a dozen cases registered against them.

Giving information about the encounter between the CIA staff and two gangsters in Suneta village of Mohali, CIA DSP Gursher Singh Sandhu said that these two men had been eluding the police for a long time. According to the information, when the police chased the criminals and tried to stop them, they fired directly at the police, which hit the CIA officers’ vehicle. But during the firing, when retaliatory action was taken, these two gangsters got seriously injured, after which they are being rushed to the hospital.
As per the directions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Punjab Police is in action mode as this was the encounter of sixth notorious criminal in last ten days.
