People are currently suffering due to the heat in Punjab. On the other hand, no warning has been issued by the Meteorological Department and the weather is likely to remain almost the same for the next five days.
The Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rain in various districts of Punjab for the next 4 days but overall, the weather will remain clear.
Light rain in these areas
Let us tell you that the weather will remain dry in most areas, but some rain may fall in northern districts like Pathankot, Gurdaspur and Nawanshahr. Widespread rain is expected in the central and eastern parts of the state such as Ludhiana, Rupnagar, Patiala and Fatehgarh Sahib.
The highest temperature in the state was recorded at 38°C in Samrala. Other major cities recorded temperatures at 32.8°C in Amritsar, 35.2°C in Ludhiana, 37.2°C in Patiala and 36.5°C in Bathinda. There was no rain in most areas.
However, Ferozepur recorded 3.5 mm rainfall, which increased humidity in the state and people had to suffer due to hot and humid weather.

The weather department has predicted light to moderate rain in various districts of Punjab for the next 4 days:
July 26 (Day 1): The weather will remain dry in most areas, but northern districts like Pathankot, Gurdaspur and Nawanshahr may receive some rain.
July 27 (Day 2): Widespread rain is expected in central and eastern parts of the state—like Ludhiana, Rupnagar, Patiala and Fatehgarh Sahib.
28 July (Day 3): Most of the districts of Punjab may receive good rainfall, especially Fazilka, Moga, Sangrur and Mohali.
29 July (Day 4): There are good signs of rainfall in almost all the districts of the state, especially the south-western districts.
