Punjab’s maximum temperature has increased by 0.2 degrees. However, the temperature in the state is still 4 degrees Celsius above normal. The highest maximum temperature of 27.1 degrees has been recorded in Patiala. Meteorologists are considering it ‘quite high’. At the same time, the minimum temperature is in normal condition, due to which the night remains cold.
According to the Meteorological Center, the western disturbance is active. This disturbance is on the border of Afghanistan. Due to this, it is not affecting the plains. But there are chances of rain and snowfall in the hilly areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.
According to the Department of Meteorological, there will not be much change in the areas of Punjab in the coming 5 days. According to an estimate, the weather is expected to remain dry in the plains of Punjab and there is no possibility of rain.
