Punjab Weather Update: Temperature hovers above normal, no alert for rain

Due to the slowdown in the activity of the western disturbance, the situation in the mountains is becoming normal. After which an increase in the temperature of Punjab is being seen. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of rain in the coming days and there is no possibility of western disturbance becoming active. Due to this the temperature will increase. At the same time, the temperature will cross 30 degrees Celsius in the coming seven days.

According to the Meteorological Center, in the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature of Punjab has increased by 2.7 degrees Celsius. This is 1.7 degrees Celsius more than normal in the state. Today’s highest maximum temperature of 28.7 degrees Celsius in the state was recorded in Bathinda. While the minimum temperature has also increased by about 1.6 degrees and it remains close to normal.

The effect of snowfall on the mountains was visible in the plains of Punjab for a few days. But now the situation is becoming normal and the temperature is increasing. According to the Meteorological Center, the temperature of the cities of Punjab will reach close to 30 degrees Celsius in the coming week.

At the same time, the minimum temperature will also be seen between 10 to 13 degrees.
