A Punjabi youth has been shot dead in Brescia, Italy. The deceased has been identified as Satpal Singh (55). He was originally from the village of Tahli. The deceased has a wife and two sons.
The incident happened on Saturday evening. The deceased was present at his home, that’s when one of his acquaintances, an Italian ex-policeman, Yusep Veletti (70), came to his house. During this time, both of them got into an argument about something. After this he fired at Satpal Singh. At the same time, he went outside the house and shot himself. Due to which he was seriously injured. He has been admitted to the hospital.
Before the murder, he came to the city for kirtan
This incident took place on Baisakhi day. Satpal Singh came to join Nagar Kirtan. Gurdwara Sahib Fluoro Committee has condemned the incident.
