Abu Dhabi: Punjabi singer Karan Aujla has been honored with The International Trendsetter of the Year Award at IIFA 2024. He was given this award by renowned Bollywood singer Shankar Mahadevan at IIFA 2024 held on Sunday. After receiving the award, Karan Aujla sang his super hit song Tauba Tauba for everyone on stage.
After receiving the award, Karan Aujla told the media – “I was very surprised that I got this honor. It was my team’s idea and we did it and we succeeded. I am unable to express in words what I am feeling at this moment. I feel fortunate.”
Karan further added, “If I did not have Punjabi and Canadian fans with me today, I would not have been here today.” Karan Aujla was also seen with Honey Singh during the award show.
Among the many winners, Sandeep Reddy Vanga won the IIFA Rocks 2024 Award for Editing for the movie Animal. Vanga’s work stood out for the way it kept viewers glued to their seats, making Animal one of the most talked-about films this year. Bosco-Caesar won the award for Choreography in the film Pathaan.
