Railway track maintenance work on in Punjab, these trains affected

Jalandhar: Track maintenance work is going on in Punjab due to which several trains are running late. As per the information by Indian Raiwalys, the work on tracks will continue till next week which means that trains will remain affected till the work is complete.  Due to the said work, about 22 trains running from Jalandhar and Jalandhar Cantt will be affected. This includes the names of many major trains.

Shan-e-Punjab, Nangal Dam, Delhi Superfast and other trains have been canceled. The route of the Sarbat Da Bhala Express has been diverted due to which passengers are facing a lot of problems. These trains are affected since last Tuesday. Construction work is going on in Amritsar, Chandigarh and Jalandhar, due to which these trains will be affected.

Amritsar to New Delhi Shan-e-Punjab 12497-98,

Nangal Dam Amritsar 14506-05

New Delhi Lohian Khas Sarbat Da Bhala Express 22479

New Delhi Lohian Khas Sarbat Da Bhala Express 22479 was also run via a diverted route. It will not come to Jalandhar on 21, 24, 25 August and Lohian Khas-New Delhi Sarbat Da Bhala Express 22480 will not come to Jalandhar on 24 and 25 August. It will be diverted and taken to Lohian Khas via Ludhiana, Nakodar.

Similarly, train 22480 going from Lohian to New Delhi will not have a stoppage at Sultanpur, Kapurthala and Jalandhar City on 24 and 25 August, this train will be sent to Ludhiana from Lohian via Nakodar. At the same time, Amritsar Chandigarh 12412 will remain canceled from 24 to 26 August, Kalka Shri Mata Vaishno Devi 14503 on 23 August, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Kalka 14504 on 24 August, Jalandhar City to Ambala Cantt 04690-89 and Chandigarh Amritsar 12411-12 from 24 to 26 August, Pathankot Jalandhar City Special 04642 and Jalandhar City Pathankot Special 06949 will remain canceled on 24 August.
