Raja Warring sends written apology to Sri Akal Takht for remarks against Jathedar

Chandigarh: Punjab Congress chief Amarinder Singh Raja Warring has sent a written apology to Sri Akal Takht Sahib. Raja Warring’s apology in the controversy that started after an interview given to a private channel. In the interview, Raja Warring accused the Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib of speaking the words written by Sukhbir Badal. Following his controversial statement, Raja Warring was asked to apologize by Sri Akal Takht Sahib by issuing a warning.

Raja Warring apologized for his words in front of the media and the people two days ago, but now he has sent a written apology to Sri Akal Takht Sahib. In his apology, Raja Warring has written that Sri Akal Takht Sahib and the Jathedar Sahib are very respectable to him. He further wote that as a humble Sikh, he has always followed all the rules of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and will continue to follow them throughout his life. He clarified that he can never even think of making any objectionable comment about the respected Jathedar of Akal Takht.

Apologizing for his words, he said, “If I have inadvertently hurt the reputation of this great organisation, I am sorry. I bow my head in front of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Ji and ask for forgiveness from Jathedar Sahib Ji.”
