About 150 families live in Amritsar. Hindu Sikh family who came to Amritsar after fleeing from Pakistan and Afghanistan rejoice with the implementation of CAA.
There are about 150 Hindu Sikh families in Amritsar, they have been living and doing their business here since 2005 and as many Hindu Sikh families had to get their visas every year. These families migrated from Peshawar in Pakistan, Sindh and Kabul in Afghanistan.
Talking to the team of Savera, the way of getting citizenship of India has been paved by the implementation of CAA in India for Ena families who came from Pakistan/Afghanistan due to which there is a wave of happiness in these families.
People displaced from Pakistan and Afghanistan thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the implementation of CAA.
