Robbery: Grocery Shokeeper held at gunpoint in Jalandhar, looted Rs 30,000

Jalandhar: A case of Robbery has been reported in Jalandhar city where two masked men on bike looted nearly 40,000 from a shopkeeper at Gunpoint. While threatening to shoot the Grocery Shopkeeper of Mathura Nagar Jalandhar this morning, Robbers held the shopkeeper at gunpoint and fled away after taking the money. He also took CCTV DVR along with them to avoid being identified.

Vinod Kumar, the shopkeeper in his statement told the police that at nearly 7 am after he opened his shop, two unidentified individuals looted and demanded cash while threatening to shoot him. It is also  reported that apart from the money, looters also took away some goods along with CCTV

After the incident, Punjab police launched probe into the matter. As per police, the Punjab Police has already launched operation and will soon apprehend the robbers.
