Chandigarh : Punjab’s regional party Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) President Sukhbir Badal has expelled his own brother-in-law and son of the Kairon family of Tarn Taran, Adesh Pratap Singh, from the party. He has been accused of anti-party activities. This action has been taken after the complaint of Khadur Sahib’s Akali candidate Virsa Singh Valtoha.
Expressing grief, Virsa Singh Valtoha said that someone who had served as a minister while the party was in power, still did not show loyalty to the party. This is not the first time this has happened with him or the party. Aadesh Pratap Singh Kairon has been involved in anti-party activities for a long time. This time, he kept bringing the anti-party activities he did to the attention of the party.
Efforts were made by the party to stop him, but he did not move. Sukhbir Badal himself made efforts for this. But they looked one thing in front of them and did something else behind them. In the end they started doing everything openly.
Called party workers and asked them not to vote for Valtoha
Valtoha said that Kairon kept calling party workers and asking them not to vote for Valtoha. Kairon said that vote for anyone, but not for Virsa Singh Valtoha. In the end the workers of Patti Halka wrote it down. After which the complaint was given to Akali Dal. Valtoha expressed happiness that even today the workers of Patti constituency are standing with the party.
