Jalandhar : Today in Jalandhar, Punjab, Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal reached Jalandhar. He welcomes many Congress and AAP leaders included in the party. During this time, Jalandhar SAD candidate Mohinder Singh KP was also present with him. During this, Sukhbir Singh Badal fiercely targeted AAP and Congress.
Badal said- I assure the people that Akali Dal will do better than other parties on Jalandhar Lok Sabha seat. He said that, “BJP has captured the Delhi Gurdwara Management Committee. Organization like RSS is running Gurudwara. This is against Punjabiyat. NSA is being misused by the government. For some leaders, only their politics is important, not the country.
SAD President Sukhbir Singh Badal said- Every party has released its manifesto. Four main parties are contesting elections in Punjab. But only SAD has come forward to raise the voice of Punjab. The rest of the parties are not working for Punjab but for themselves.
The party is only doing politics of religion. Akali Dal is the only party which wants brotherhood to remain in Punjab. With this Punjab will progress. Badal said- My father was the Chief Minister, at that time people of all religions used to say that Prakash Singh Badal is our leader. But today’s parties are not doing this. For some leaders, only their politics is important, not the country.
Punjab’s does not have its own capital: Badal
He said I want to make it clear that whatever parties are coming to Punjab are not working for the welfare of Punjab. Punjab does not even have its own capital. No party is working for Punjab.
Only Punjab has the right on the river water of Punjab. But Punjab’s water is being sent to other states. This is just the people of Punjab being cheated. We have only our rights on that water.
He said, Congress government had given half the water to Rajasthan and Haryana. Punjab is getting only 25 percent water. He said If our government is formed in Punjab, we will assurely save the water of Punjab.
