Chandigarh: General Secretary of Punjab Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee, Sarvan Singh Pandher has made a big announcement. Reacting on the meeting of Union Ministers with farm unions, he said that final decision will be taken after the discussion of nearly 200 unions of farmers with Union ministers.
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi can win the hearts of the farmers if he tried.
Farmers have certain demands including legal provision for Minimum Support price, i.e. MSP. Farmers also want that loans on farmers should be waived off and there should be withdrawal of cases registered on farmers during last protest.
Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij has said that Three Ministers of the Central government have come to Chandigarh and talks of the first round have been done. The second round of talks will be done soon. He further added that he is hopeful that the issue of farmers will be resolved soon.
He further asserted that state government will whatever is required to maintain peace and harmony in the state.
