Chandigarh: The timing of schools in Punjab will change from the beginning of October. School timings in Punjab will change thrice in this session. The above orders will be implemented in more than 19 thousand schools across Punjab. From April 1 to September 30, the timings are from 8 am to 2 pm. On the other hand, from October 1 to October 31, the timings of primary schools are from 8.30 am to 2.30 pm and the timings for middle to senior secondary are from 8.30 am to 2.50 pm.
From November 1 to February 28, the timings of primary schools are from 9 am to 3 pm and the timings for middle to senior secondary are from 9 am to 3.20 pm. All government, private, and recognized schools will start at 8.30 am and close at 2.30 pm.
Along with this, all middle, high and senior secondary schools will start at 8.30 am and close at 2.50 pm.
