The central government has released the second installment of 1000 solar lights in Khadoor Sahib Parliament Constituency. It should be noted that 1000 lights have already been installed in the first instalment.
Member of Parliament Jasbir Singh Gill said that under this program, 10000 solar lights are to be installed in the constituency in 10 installments and the third installment is also coming soon.
Solar lights received under second installment will be fixed at many places including, Pahuvind, Khadur Sahib, Goindwal Sahib, Patti Shahr, Sultanpur Lodhi, Tarn Taran Shahr, Bhikhivind, Mehta, Kenro, Baba Buddha Sahib, Raia, Baba Bakala Sahib, Beas, Bhorshi, Khalchian and Jandiala Guru.
Khadoor Sahib is the only constituency in Punjab that has benefited from this scheme and provided this facility.
Kulbir Singh Jira, Harminder Singh Gill, Simarjit Singh Chairman, Yudhveer Singh Adi thanked Jasbir Singh Gill and said that due to the efforts of Gill Sahib, there has been progress in Khadoor Sahib and new projects have come.
