Mohali: Massive fire erupts in factory after short circuit; 9 month old girl dies, two injured

Mohali, June 30: A fire suddenly broke out in a factory in Mohali, Punjab, due to a short circuit. A nine-month-old girl died in this accident, while two other people were burned. Seeing the fire, a crowd of people gathered around. Also, the fire brigade was informed about the incident.

The fire brigade team reached the spot and controlled the fire. The injured were immediately admitted to the hospital. Police teams have also reached the spot and are investigating the matter.

Information was received at about quarter to ten in the morning

According to the information, this incident happened this morning. There is a factory named D39 in Phase 5, which manufactures iron dies. The fire brigade team was informed about the fire at around quarter to ten in the morning.

After this, the teams reached the spot immediately. But the fire was very intense. The heat was very high. Due to this, there was difficulty in extinguishing the fire. During this, the team started extinguishing the fire by pouring water. After this, the team moved forward controlling the fire.

The dead body of the girl was lying near the bed

A temporary cabin was built inside the factory. A bed was placed there. Also, a thing was kept for making tea. During this time, a bed was placed in the cabin. The dead body of the girl was lying in the corner under the bed. Two people have been injured in this fire. A female employee, Babita and factory owner Varinder Kumar are said to be injured in this. This factory was running on rent.
